“Life of Pablo” by Kanye West – REVIEW

Finally Life of Pablo, Kanye West’s new album, was released in multiple streaming platforms.

I took my time, listened to the entire thing, and decided to do a review.

“Life of Pablo” by Kanye West

Even if you don’t like their music, is undeniable that Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West are big geniuses of 2010s music. Not only because of their provocative style, and awesome productions, but they know what to say to follow a certain theme they want to achieve when they were making their albums.

Even though Life of Pablo is not his strongest album, it is still delightful to listen to.

Songs like Ultralight BeamWaves and Fade are great songs if you are out of creativity juice, and needs some inspiration.

I cannot forget to mention the awesome performances that Rihanna and Chris Brown made in the songs they sang with Kanye.

And last, but not least, I recommend this album for people who love 2010s rap music. This album is like modern art, not suited for everybody.

LLAMAAWARD

Howdy,

Today is the day I’m going to fix my llama fur, and it’s been months that I don’t do that, so, I’m pretty excited!

Oh, and I almost forgot to show you… A couple days ago, my beautiful Brazillian Llamarina, needed some help with her college stuff, and to influence her, I decided to do the same thing. She needed to do 4 covers for a fictional magazine, and while she was doing it, I did three myself.

Pretty good, huh? I’m really proud of myself.

So, now it’s time to get ready, because the place Mr. Llama is going is fancy!

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

10 Cloverfield Lane – Review

You know when you go to the barbershop, and you thing: “Wow! This time he got it! My hair is perfect!” But two minutes later your hair is completely ruined for no logical reason? This is how I felt after watching this film. Do you wanna know why? Keep reading.

If we divide the movie in 3 parts (3 acts), I can say that the second one is by far its best. Act 1 moved super slow, even though the intro was marvelous, the way they presented the opening credits, they deserve a llama kiss. But between the intro, and the Act 2, stuff didn’t move at all. However, Act 2 came kicking ass, making me wish that Act 3 never existed, because wow, everything was in perfect motion. The cinematographer made the rights choices, the score was working right, which in the beginning of the film, felt kinda forced, and the director probably gave John Goodman the right directions, because he was just doing his job perfectly, I was really impressed. I started disliking John Goodman after the horrible The Gambler (2014), but this made me like him again, like I did when I watched The Big Lebowski (1998).

Okay, everything was going four-stars until this point, but they had to destroy a beautiful piece of art, making Act 3 its biggest mistake. I’ll spoil the hell out of this movie, so if you are not ready to step forward, my brave warrior, don’t go beyond this point.

Oh my goodness! Why did they make the mistake of showing what happens to Mary Elizabeth Winstead after she leaves the bunker? Showing the stupid alien, and ripping off War of the Worlds (the birds are fine with all this mess going on, the design on the monster ship is similar, and the way she destroys it is almost identical to how Tom Cruise blows the tripod from its inside) completely ruined the movie. If it wasn’t bad enough, the final sequence is a big pile of crap that tried to make its audience hopeful or aware that there will be a sequel.

Disappointed is a great word to describe how I felt after the final credits appeared on the screen.

I’m back babies!

Howdy!

I know I messed up disappearing for almost four days, but I had my reasons. I felt that I had nothing good to write about, even though I still had Zootopia’s review, The Mysterious Book story and a little bit more.

But today was the day I saw something that made me come here and write stuff for the blog. Expect to read a review about 10 Cloverfield Lane soon. Probably in some hours. There is some stuff I need to take out of my chest.

So, keep awake, and you’ll see what I mean.

Oh, for some reason, every time I touch Arena 4 in Clash Royale, I get a 3 to 4 lose-streak, why? At least I finally got the skeleton army, I hope it helps me.

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

Unexpected full day!

Howdy!

Aaaaaand good night to my fellow llamas! Even though I planned to stay at home all day, I had a lot of stuff to do, including my laundry (which is still on hold)!

I did a lot of work for Favor March, but I had a meeting that I almost forgot, with a new friend, a fellow Brazilian llama who sings very well. After a delicious cappuccino and our long off-topic conversations, she invited me to an artist showcase that was happening tonight.

I wish I could have stayed in Hollywood, but I felt the urge to get a bus and go home, at least for an hour just to talk with my Brazilian Llamarina.

And while I was talking to her, the actor we had booked for Friday and Saturday, quit, because he found a gig that requires less time and pays more… urgh.

But we found another guy, who seems pretty cool to work with, and I hope I’m right.

Later on I went back to Hollywood, and wow! Some people blew my mind tonight! Oh, and I got free pizza! I feel this is a good friendship, that have just started.

Now I need to do a crew list and a one sheet budget… WISH ME LUCK!

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉
