ERASED (Boku Dake ga Inai Machi) – REVIEW

I know I’ve been missing for days, but I have my reasons, which will be explained later.

Finally, after weeks waiting for this marvelous, and wonderful, episode, I have finished ERASED (for the first time I controlled myself, and didn’t read the manga).

WOW! That’s my reaction to it.

Since the beginning of this anime, you can see that the director, Tomohiko Itō, knows what he was doing. It is beautifully directed to the bone. Every single detail was there for a reason. I could not expect something that amazing coming from the person who unfortunately directed Sword Art Online (both seasons).

Even though there was no insane plot twist in the anime, ERASED, knew how to hold my attention, and even make me anxiously wait for the next episode. Every episode ending has a powerful cliffhanger, that don’t give any chance of a plot twist. It just makes you mad inside, because you definitely knows what is going to happen on the next episode.

I cannot forget to mention its cinematography, and wonderful change of aspect ratio in THE RIGHT MOMENTS (a bunch of Hollywood directors still don’t know how to do that effectively, except Nolan, who for some reason didn’t bother me at all doing that during Interstellar). How the focus was used, and how it knew how to play with its shots and lights, ERASED is a perfect combination between spices, something well done, with nothing going too much, neither too little.

I wish I knew more animes that made me tear up MULTIPLE TIMES, like this one did.

ERASED is as powerful as any well done series you can find out there, one of the few animes that I would recommend even for people who hate the platform.

It deserves to get a Llama Award.

LLAMAAWARD

Is Friday Afternoon Live!

Howdy,

Since SMITE – a game I play for years – is giving some free gems, I decided to play it, and why not share the experience with you?

Don’t expect a full streamer show, it’s just me playing SMITE, listening to Ultra Music Festival 2016.

But If you want to watch me play, or have some background music, enjoy!

Howdy,

Today is the day I’m going to fix my llama fur, and it’s been months that I don’t do that, so, I’m pretty excited!

Oh, and I almost forgot to show you… A couple days ago, my beautiful Brazillian Llamarina, needed some help with her college stuff, and to influence her, I decided to do the same thing. She needed to do 4 covers for a fictional magazine, and while she was doing it, I did three myself.

(Click on them to see it in full resolution)

Pretty good, huh? I’m really proud of myself.

So, now it’s time to get ready, because the place Mr. Llama is going is fancy!

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

10 Cloverfield Lane – Review

You know when you go to the barbershop, and you thing: “Wow! This time he got it! My hair is perfect!” But two minutes later your hair is completely ruined for no logical reason? This is how I felt after watching this film. Do you wanna know why? Keep reading.

If we divide the movie in 3 parts (3 acts), I can say that the second one is by far its best. Act 1 moved super slow, even though the intro was marvelous, the way they presented the opening credits, they deserve a llama kiss. But between the intro, and the Act 2, stuff didn’t move at all. However, Act 2 came kicking ass, making me wish that Act 3 never existed, because wow, everything was in perfect motion. The cinematographer made the rights choices, the score was working right, which in the beginning of the film, felt kinda forced, and the director probably gave John Goodman the right directions, because he was just doing his job perfectly, I was really impressed. I started disliking John Goodman after the horrible The Gambler (2014), but this made me like him again, like I did when I watched The Big Lebowski (1998).

Okay, everything was going four-stars until this point, but they had to destroy a beautiful piece of art, making Act 3 its biggest mistake. I’ll spoil the hell out of this movie, so if you are not ready to step forward, my brave warrior, don’t go beyond this point.

Oh my goodness! Why did they make the mistake of showing what happens to Mary Elizabeth Winstead after she leaves the bunker? Showing the stupid alien, and ripping off War of the Worlds (the birds are fine with all this mess going on, the design on the monster ship is similar, and the way she destroys it is almost identical to how Tom Cruise blows the tripod from its inside) completely ruined the movie. If it wasn’t bad enough, the final sequence is a big pile of crap that tried to make its audience hopeful or aware that there will be a sequel.

Disappointed is a great word to describe how I felt after the final credits appeared on the screen.

I’m back babies!

Howdy!

I know I messed up disappearing for almost four days, but I had my reasons. I felt that I had nothing good to write about, even though I still had Zootopia’s review, The Mysterious Book story and a little bit more.

But today was the day I saw something that made me come here and write stuff for the blog. Expect to read a review about 10 Cloverfield Lane soon. Probably in some hours. There is some stuff I need to take out of my chest.

So, keep awake, and you’ll see what I mean.

Oh, for some reason, every time I touch Arena 4 in Clash Royale, I get a 3 to 4 lose-streak, why? At least I finally got the skeleton army, I hope it helps me.

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

Part 2 is OVER!

Howdy,

Today is the last day of Favor March part 2! Yay!

I wanted to go to the musicians place again, but I’m afraid it gets too personal too fast.

At least the last location is my house, so I’m chilling amd they shooting what they need. I hope everything keps fine. I had to clean the hell out of it yesterday.

I’m starving, and that kills me that this production is low budget and doesn’t have good food.

I haven’t talked to my Brazilian Llamarina in hours, and it’s killing me. I think she is mad with my absence.

We (the people who are shooting) had a nice discussion on colored hair, when is appropriate to use them or not.

Now it’s time to start wrapping things up!

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

Favor March, part 2

Howdy,

Before you read my stuff, notice that part one happened before this blog even existed. Thanks for understanding.

So, I was sooooo tired yesterday, that I end up sleeping at 8pm (WHAAAT?), and woke up at 4am. Did some of the stuff I needed to do and played a game on my phone for a little bit.

What game? Clash Royale. Why? Because two buddies play it, and they are kinda bad at it, so, I decided to create an account and in less than 24 hours, I’m already with 893 trophies! I’m already ranked higher than one of them, who is playing for a couple days. And the second one is around 100 trophies above me, but he is playing it for more than a week.

N0w I need to get dressed, because Mr. Producer Llama over here, needs to take my ass to set, and happily, I’m not walking today. Why? Because it’s raining and I got a excuse to get a ride.

I’ll try to post more stuff as soon as I get there, ok?

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

A Single Piece Pita Bread

Howdy!

I woke up super tired, for some reason, even though I know I didn’t sleep much, I woke all messed up. Ultra hungry, with my intestines feeling hurt, and I stupidly only ate one piece of pita bread.

At the moment I’m at BB Studios, starving and the vending machines’ room will only open around 10:15… argh!

I accidentally revealed the existence of my new Brazillian llama friend to some alpacas, BUT I’m glad that they don’t pay attention on what I say, so, I’m kinda safe.

I will try to post the mysterious book story, which is not long, here today.

If more stuff happens, you guys will be reading here.

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉

Exhausted, but happy!

Howdy,

I did some of the things I need to do, but I’ll finish the rest tomorrow, before the deadline.

Now it’s time to go to bed, because today I have to wake up at 8am, and go to BB Studios, and stay until 4pm, and then come home, start my laundry and cleaning my bedroom and bathroom. Argh!

But even though I’m exhausted, I’m really happy with everything that happened today, including using my headphones to ignore the Scientology guys who keep asking me to join them.

Good night!

I’ll see you soon, muchachos! 😉
